The Pacto de Productividad [Productivity Pact Program] seeks
to improve the employment opportunities for people with disabilities, and to contribute in their work and social inclusion.
The program strengthens, orientates, and articulates the different actors in the work system. It also gives technical support to the companies, the training centers, the institutions that provide complementary services, the employment centers, and the associations for handicapped people. Finally, the program generates supplies for designing technical guidelines, standards, and public policies related to labor inclusion of handicapped population.
Today, people with disabilities face one of the highest unemployment rates in the country.
To a large extent, this is due to the fact that the training entities and the employers don’t know what actions must be taken to include this population.
That is why Fundación Corona recognizes the need of promoting the work inclusion of handicapped population from a systemic point of view. Today, the Pacto de Productividad has positioned itself as a technical benchmark in regards to inclusive employment of people with disabilities nationwide.
