OUR GOAL IS PROGRESS AND SOCIAL MOBILITY

We seek to contribute to reducing the inequality gap in Colombia.

What we do

Social Mobility:
People Possibility to reach or lose a position in the socioeconomic welfare scale

An individual position is measured depending on education mobility, assets mobility, income generation and work access.

EDUCATION TO
Employment

Although the Colombian unemployment rate is nearly 10%, there are specific demographics with sharper numbers: In the case of women, this number ascends to 12%; in the case of the youth, to 16%; and in the case of handicapped people, to 70%, among others. Besides, this numbers are even more critical in specifics regions. For example, the unemployment rate for the young people of the Urabá region ascends to 45%.

We work for this populations to have access to more opportunities and for them to have a better quality of life.

EDUCATION FOR
THE CITIZEN
PARTICIPATION

One of the most important challenges of the country is to strengthen the relationship between the Government and the citizens and promote citizen participation. For example, 82% of Colombians have not been part of a participation group or organization. Furthermore, 25% of citizens consider that political participation does not solve community problems.

We work for the citizenship to be involved in public matters through social leadership, incidence and open government.
